Screw caps equipped with silicone rubber and PTFE‑faced septa—such as those from AQ™, MicroSolv™, and BASIK™ product lines—are compatible with standard sterilization methods. These caps, available in 8 mm, 9 mm, and 10 mm formats, can be safely sterilized using heat/steam autoclaving or gamma irradiation.

According to manufacturer guidance, these materials tolerate autoclave exposure for up to 15 minutes, making them suitable for workflows requiring sterile sample handling or contamination‑free chromatographic preparation.

If you're integrating these caps into regulated environments or high‑throughput analytical processes, these sterilization options enable reuse and maintain seal integrity without compromising septum performance.
